For most releases, we will sell preorders. Preorders typically will begin the weekend before the manufacturer set release date. We advise you to follow us on Instagram (@ThirtySevenKicks), as we post all updates there. If you do not have an Instagram account, you can view our page at instagram.com/thirtysevenkicks. Instagram is an iOS/Android photo-sharing social media application available for free download in your device’s app store.
Do we pay up front/ahead of time for a preorder?
Yes, purchasing a preorder is just like buying a normal product, except we do not have the item in stock. You must pay full price when the preorder is for sale. We do not honor any price changes to preorder products as we may increase/decrease the price at any time based on our quantity.
If I purchase a preorder on ThirtySevenKicks.com, does that mean I am guaranteed the shoes?
No, NO PREORDER IS EVER GUARANTEED. Whether you’re a new customer or a long time customer, we never guarantee that we will be able to fulfill your order. Just like our competition, no website can ever guarantee a preorder unless they have the product in stock. Unlike some of our competition, we only accept a specific amount of preorders. We also do not accept a large quantity per size, as well as in total.
What happens if in the rare occasion you are not able to fulfill my preorder?
If in the extremely rare case that we do not successfully fulfill your preorder, we immediately process a full refund through your original payment method. Please allow a few days for the refund to process. You will receive an email from PayPal when your refund has started to process.
How many preorders total do you usually take?
Just like Nike themselves, we do not disclose the quantity of orders we accept. If you complete checkout and receive a confirmation email with an order number, your order has been successfully placed. We can guarantee that if there are any questions or issues with your order, our customer service team will be available to you. To contact us for any reason, send us an email at [email protected]. How do you determine if you will or will not open preorders for a specific release?
When a certain release is approaching, we have to determine if we will accept preorders for that product. Based on how exclusive the product is, where they will be released and what stores will be getting them, and basically how crazy the “hype” is for that shoe is when we will determine if we will accept preorders. All releases vary on the amount of preorders we take. We only take a certain amount of preorders based on how many we predict we will get. It has been calculated that our preorder success rate is over 90%.
How do you determine the price for a preorder product?
We determine the price of a preorder (and pretty much all of our products) based on many different reasons. Products listed on our website with a future release date are often set at $0.01 due to the fact that we have not yet determined a final price. We do not typically estimate and prices as we do not want to inconvenience a customer by increasing or decreasing a price. Our management team will look at the current market value, and what our competition is charging. We don’t like to compare ourselves to other websites, but at the same time we never want to charge any more than what another site’s price is. We’ll also look at how exclusive the product is. Based on how limited the shoes are, we’ll determine how easy/hard it will be for us to obtain pairs, and how much we may have to pay our employees to help us, as we may have to stand in line for hours, or drive around to many different stores.
